Alico Egypt order book in year 2002 valued at  of more than £E70 million. The Senior Management & Technical Staff of Alico Egypt is provided by Alico (U.A.E.). Further staff is also trained at Alico (U.A.E.). Alico Egypt’s new plant is located at Ain Sukhna, 130km east of Cairo in the new Suez Industrial Area. On 6 hectares land lays the 12,000m2 factory building with state of the art production equipment. The factory is divided into three main sections – Aluminum Fabrication Plant, Glass Processing Plant and Paint Application Plant. The Aluminum Fabrication Plant is equipped with Computerized production machinery, has a team of experienced and Well-qualified designers and machine operators. The Glass Processing Plant is equipped with the latest computerized horizontal tempering line that procedures high quality heat-treated glass. It also has a sophisticated, automated assembly line for Double Glazed unites (DGU’s) including structural glazing and two separate cutting lines for flat and laminated glass. The Paint Application Plant has the latest application equipment for Wet Coating PVF2 (PVDF) as well as Polyester Powder Coating.
